Canada PEI "Ships, Colonies, & Commerce" Half Penny (1830-35) (BR 997, PE 10-33)

Description

After a bit more than 60 years of collecting, it is time to find good homes for the collection. Here is a nice copper from Canada, a Prince Edward Island issue of "Ships, Colonies, & Commerce" Half Penny which was minted between 1830-35 (BR 997, PE 10-33). Measuring 26mm in diameter the obverse has a nice ship design with British flag sailing right. There is a slight ding on obverse rim at the 5 o’clock position.
