1812 half penny token.
It
can be found on page 50 of the 1966 Catalogue of Canadian
Coins Tokens and Paper Money which identifies it as a "
Tiffen
token" 196a (960).  It is also found on page 119 of
Haxby
/
Witman

Edition which indicates that, though having a date of 1812,
Tiffen

actually 1830s
imitations of the original 1812
Halliday tokens.
