    This outdoor axe is made as an all around tool, suitable for various woodworking tasks. It can handle splitting and chopping well. At about 800g weigth, it can be put on a variety of different handles, from a 14-16in hatchet handle for a heavy bench hatchet all the way up to 30in for a light forest axe or something in between, a 20in pack axe. Here it is sold as head only, so that choice is completely up to you.
    It is hand forged from high quality 4142 carbon steel and expertly heat treated to give the best performance.
