    Description

    This auction is for one hand forged tomahawk. It's made from a  7/8" Gearwrench wrench. This one is number 463 and what I call "Fun Size" The head measures 4-5/8"" long (including spike). It has a cutting edge that is 1-1/2". It's about 11-3/4" long and weighs 10 oz.  I throw every one of these that I make and this one is no exception, so it has been pre-abused for your safety and convenience. The alloys used for wrenches seem to be very well suited for what I do to them. That is to say, wrenches make very good throwing axes. I try to use U.S. made wrenches whenever I can and its flea market and auction time, which is how I prefer to acquire wrenches (Trades for work are better) but I sometimes resort to buying imports on ebay and it can be hard to find reasonably priced wrenches of good quality so I do the best I can. I still avoid anything made in India, and always will. Likewise Pakistan, and I implore you to do the same. Anyhow,  I am offering this wrenchawk, #463, with no reserve, buyer pays shipping. Thanks!
