    is an old, Canadian "speed the plough" token with a hook plough terminus and, possibly, a bold tail (on the
    cod
    fillet).
    It appears that the token has been punched twice in the area of the cod tail.
    My theory is that the token was
    punched
    to
    determine what it was made of.
    Apparently, these date to the mid-1800s (ref page 81, Whitman Guidebook "A
