    Description

    Perfect for holiday dinners, special occasions, or simply a beautiful display piece!  This listing offers a vintage blue onion covered casserole by Hutschenreuther, Germany.   It has a scalloped top and an oval shape with handles.  We believe it was produced in the early 1940's - based on the Bavaria mark and knowledge of the estate where it was purchased.   The top provides a solid cover for the dish and is not notched for a ladle.
    The set is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks, stains, rough edges or other apologies.  It appears unused  so bid with confidence.  Measurements are approximately 11 inches from handle to handle and 7-1/2 inches tall with the lid.   It will be carefully packaged for safe arrival.
